Hi, I'm Hannah!
I was born and raised in Long Beach, CA, attended public elementary school k-5, then was homeschooled 6-12. I am the eldest of seven children, and devoted pet-parent to my kitten, Muffin.
Teaching is my passion first and foremost, but I also have a deep love for nature, animals, music, and artistic expression. In my teaching, I love to incorporate my passions to create a truly authentic expression of who I am as an educator.

In my free time, I love spending time outdoors. Biking, running, hiking, and camping are some of my favorite ways to unwind, and re-center. I also spend a good portion of my free time as a volunteer at the Humane Society here in Bismarck. My time in nature has fostered a great respect for the planet and all God's creatures that live here with us.
My family is plays a huge role in my life. Being the eldest of of 7 kids, they have taught me countless lessons on being responsible, compassionate, and forgiving.
Being homeschooled for 6 years, I was able to offer much of my time to volunteer work. I spent many hours of my Junior and Senior years working as a volunteer aide in a special education preschool classroom. It was there that I found my passion for childcare and education. This experience opened my heart to the many different needs of students in the public school system. I have had the privilege of working with students with different backgrounds, behaviors, learning preferences, and needs. My school experience was full of exploration, investigation, and creative learning. This background inspired me to pursue a career in education.
I began general education coursework at Long Beach City College. After two years at LBCC I transferred to the university of Mary to complete my goal of becoming an Elementary educator.
